And it seems the dude above me answered it: yes, the original KI only comes with that more expensive Ultra pack that includes extra costumes, accessories, and other things.  I wouldn't say it's worth another $20, though, to be honest, lol

I tried the D-pad, but it's in such an awkward "inward angle" position (much like the right analog stick, also a gripe I have and why I prefer the Wii U Pro controller by a LONG shot) and it gives my thumb a bit of a cramping feeling since, as you know, the inputs need to be quick and rapid.

hmm, didnt realize that.  I bought the Ultra edition myself.  Will also be getting KI2 when season 2 comes out xD

They should have handled this fiasco so much better Jay......... anyway,i will buy season 1 ultra when its on sale, and will buy season 2 ultra straight off the bat to ensure no more drama like this time lol.

Still, it has to be said........... the Original arcade version of Killer Instinct is one hell of a great extra

Season 2 Ultra edition will include Killer Instinct 2 aswell, that's why i'm going ultra form the word go next time around

I DO get the nostalgia from getting the old arcade versions, but I played the hell out of those, so I can ignore them without feeling like I missed out, haha

Much stronger will than me on that front then lol. (oh, and of course 1000 gamerscore to get for both KI 1 & 2 is handy for a gamerscore whore like me too)
