I think everybody knows this. Also Activision publishes both and is voluntarily giving Destiny more marketing time. They are essentially killing off COD faster then it is dieing on its own steam.

What people do wonder is if Destiny can match COD sales in its peak years and can hold onto it like COD did for so long.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

No.

In this site much people still think that COD will sell 20 million versus 10 million of Destiny.

LOL.

Of course it will, Destiny is the new COD, it just has a new paint job.

As the saying goes: "Same shit, different odor".

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I think Destiny will sell more than any of the CoD's, that is of coarse because it has 10 years to do so. (people will be buy the core game with any expansions in the future, think WoW, people still buy vanilla to play expansion 4-

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Don't know how you can use pre orders when Destiny has been available for 2 years now to pre order and COD since July.

Can Destiny out sell it? Sure, but I wouldn't use this as proof.

The pre order of COD is terrible... for this i predict that Destiny will outsell COD.

i just think that bit is odd.  i mean, i was just a few months ago they announced AW and stated they are up to 3 dedicated development teams now.  surely they need CoD to keep selling or they'll lose a lot of money no matter how much destiny brings in, right?

I figure Destiny gets its opening year big push and 2015 is back to COD in the spotlight. Besides, COD is still going to be profitable regardless, just less so this year.
