10+ years in Iraq and this is what is happening after we leave..... This makes me sick.

you guys are the reasin this is happening

This is in no way, shape or form the fault of the United States.

Once again you make a statement that is the polar opposite of logic. This is 100% the fault of the United States. The US removed Saddam from power, failed to rebuild Iraq, then funded the ISIS terrorists in their war with the regime in Syria. Again, undeniably the fault of the United States.

You know what, you're absolutley right. And here was me thinking that the people in the video shooting, beating and killing unarmed men were responsible for shooting, beating and killing unarmed men, when it was a greedy, imperialistic war mongering United States that is to blame. Now you only need to somehow make a connection with this conflict and american-christian fundamentalism, and that would be a perfect bouzane post !!

I  guess ISIS are not to blame since logic dictates that people who overthrew a ruthless dictator are responsible for the massacers even tho during the Iraqi war the both sides were enemies.

Iraq would have gone to shit, with or without US intervention, just like Libya, Syria, Jordan and Egypt during the last few years, just a bit quicker. The problems of this region go beyond your typical MSNBC 'dem evil republcanz want oil!!!'' drivel

I'm well aware of how television works as a Rorschach Test to a lot of people. They are emotionally engaged on a certain subject and more prone to perceive bias against their own views on television. For instance, bias towards conservatives for Fox News, and liberals for NBC (while in reality they are both more attuned to the will of the same companies - the ones who finance and advertise on them - while slightly pandering to their most proeminent age group). Is that the case? And if so, pulling a negligible ad hominem attack against them is going to help discredit them on the eyes of others?

This is not the thread for this, but here is two of many examples. The number grows everyday.

America removed Saddam from power, creating the power vacuum that allowed these rebels to gain power. America did not rebuild the nation or put anything in place to prevent this from happening. America provided funding and equipment for ISIS in Syria. Again, this is 100% America's fault (even a small child could recognize this painfully obvious fact) and you have not made a single statement to even challenge this assertion, let alone disprove it. Also, I love how you bring up the partisan political BS when nobody else mentioned it. I don't watch MSNBC or any other major news network so leave the little strawman where he was (LOL, you always do this). I was never under the impression that the war was for oil, the war was always to please America's masters in Saudi Arabia (again, your statements must be directed at some third party not involved in our "debate"). Finally, I want to know where you found a crystal ball that reveals what would have happened in this region without America's involvement. Seriously, I can not understand what type of "logic" you are opperating on. It doesn't really matter though because America is getting exactly what she deserves, billions in debt and more enemies. Just keep applying the same half-baked strategy to as many nations as possible and you will drown in militant Islam.

Thank god we never went to Syria, these are the scum you would see there too otherwise. These people thrive when there is weak or no government. However, expect yet more islamophobia from this even though these loonies are an extremely small group of muslims. The Arab dictators are harsh but they have nothing on this kind of brutality. Alot of the dictators in this region usually protect minorities like christians as well. It's just disgusting. But what the fuck is wrong with these religious loonies? I thought killing was seen as wrong in all religions?!

This happened all because we clueless western fools went into a region already fucked because of us and removed whatever little stability there was we never plan for afterwards. Humanitarian intervention my arse! Life is worse for these people now, those who survive anyway!
