Word up people, saw this in an advance screening last week. 'Tis a great film. Well worth the money (even though i spent nothing to see it early). I'll be going again to see it mainly because I really liked it and because in this advance preview there was no secret scene.

While I still think Cap A is the best one they have made so far, this is by far the funniest. Avenger's had one liner comedy this has comedy based around the character's themselves, in other words far superior (I mean any comedy is better than Whedon's comedy anyway, Whedon's comedy is worse than 2 broke girls....).

You lucky bastard! I have to pay £18.50 for my IMAX ticket

And I take it you mean Capn 2? I'm still staying with Iron Man 1 as the best, maybe just because how it "changed the genre"

ShowFilmFirst for regional premier, applied for tickets and got them. Me and my friends ended up having 14 in total. :P I have a cineworld card and while I sometimes only go once or twice a month, this alone saves me money, £10 just for a 3D film is a joke. So when I pay £16 or 17 for unlimited, if I see more than that in some months, I save money. for IMAX at cineworld it also only then costs me £4 extra I think.

Yes, Cap 2. Best Marvel film to date and with some superb moments, I wish it would have some oscar nods, it won't because Oscars don't like Sci-fi let alone Superhero.

Hmm, pie.

I normally go quite cheap owing to my lack of anything to do during the day and my Odeon card (+ scamming Odeon points from my brother's purchases) gives me a free film every now and again. But I thought it was woth it for the actual IMAX. But ultimately I think I have seen 3 films this year Capn 2, X-Men and Spidy 2... there's a pattern

I've kind of given up caring about awards. Looking at some of the listings, I just hadn't heard of half the films. I also saw American Hustle getting tonnes of nods despite it's lack of anything hugely special... It's just politics I guess

meh i think i missed this by 20 years to care about.

Going tonight, feel free to give impressions, but be careful with any spoilers on here.

Never even heard of this.

I'm gonna give it a chance. Didn't like the first trailer but I think Marvel is bringing the goods, lately. I consider myself a big comics fan and I know very little about the Guardians of the Galaxy. I'll actually be going into a comic book movie with no preconceived ideas of what they SHOULD do with a story/character and just enjoy what they actually do. It's kind of exciting.

I need to see this.

I am Groot.

In reality I liked the movie. I liked Avengers more, but that's just me. They would often bring out a cliche and then immediately make fun of it. So there's that.

But with the cliche's, holy crap there were a lot of them.
