from what i've seen and heard I think german voice over is the best in the world..I liked it especially movies from the 90s terminator 2 probably my favorite..and they certainly do rule imo when it comes to asian movies.

Well from what I remembered most of the voice acting for movies was sub par.  I have Platoon on Blu ray which includes the German voice track which is a exelent example of the sub par voice over work that I remember from my childhood none of the actors sound even close to their American counterparts not only that the voice actors they choose don't fit the characters in the movie.

platoon is from the 80s maybe thats why but its probably all in the head. I guess im used to all the 90s stuff because I lived in germany at that time and only watched german VO.

Yeah all the stuff I remember is from the 80s since I left Germany in April of 1988.  For TV shows both the animated kind and live action the voice over work was usually pretty good.

I wish they would have had some theaters that showed movies in English when I was growing up as a kid in Germany since the voice over talent in Germany when it comes to live action movies is not that great.  Most foreign animated shows that came on television had pretty good voice actors but for most movies they didn't even try to come close to find people that sounded close to the orginal actors.

Brazilian voiceover is absolutely terribad, but I think I wouldn't like it even if it was good. I just can't stand dubs for the most part, it usually takes away the soul of the original product, and I feel this is especially true with Guardians of the Galaxy.

Agreed, for the most part I always prefer watching a movie in its original language unless the voice cast for the dub is very good or some of the actors do their own voice overs like with the English version of Das Boot and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon but both of those I also watched in their original language.

I was shocked when I found out most movie theaters in my town had already stopped actually showing this movie. From what I've seen, there's only 2 more places where you can go watch it in English, and these are probably only keeping it up for another week.

I'll be going to the cinema and watch it for a 5th and final time on Wednesday... from then on, I might as well start some sort of rehab

I think here in the US, Guardians will be in theaters until at least mid November especially since there isn't even a release date for the Blu ray version yet.

Guardians impressive hold shows it and Iron Man in dead heat right now. Who would have thought it would be Marvel Studios best IP debut?
