As for the new first party character: Tharja.

I'm not going to waste time ranking the current female characters. I like them all, and there's no inherent preference between them.

My most-wanted female first-party character yet to be revealed is Krystal. With her staff, she'd be able to have a moveset that would differ from anything else currently in the game. She would be infinitely more desirable in the game than Wolf.

The follow-up choices are Dixie Kong, Jenna from the Golden Sun series (Isaac was protagonist of the first game, but Jenna is the first playable character in the sequel, and she was in the first game, too), and then Akari Hayami (from both Wave Race: Blue Storm and 1080 Snowboarding). Main reason for these choices is that they'd definitely all be quite unique.

Also, I'm hoping that a few more characters get the WFT/Villager/Mii/Robin treatment. Olimar should get Brittany as an alt. Ms Pacman should be an alt for Pacman. Some of the Pikachu appearances should be female (you can tell by whether there's a notch at the end of the tail). I also think they could have Tetra as an alt for Toon Link (same moves and same stats, etc... just a different appearance/voice/taunt) - that is, if Tetra doesn't get to be in as a separate character being to Zelda as Toon Link is to Link.

On a side note, I want Daisy as a Peach alt - different voicing and some variations in animation as well as basic appearance, but otherwise identical.
