Forums - Gaming Discussion - Have you ever replayed a game so much that you became a master at it?

Tagged games:

Hi guys, as the subject states I would like you to share the experience of a game which you played so many times that after a while you became a master at it and could easily play through the whole game in a couple of hours. For me that game was Toy story 2 on the playstation. Back then I never had a memory card so it was a good thing that I had only two games that game and crash bandicoot: warped. I mostly played the toy story game since back then I was a huge fan of toy story and slowly I started mastering each level and the fastest way to get through it and after a year I managed to finish the game without a memory card three times. By then I could finish the game in a couple of hours (around 3 hours) which I guess was pretty good when I was seven years old. So what were your experiences?

Mastering the rocket jump was something back in the days.. sure you it's pretty easy when you're alone.. but rocketjumping in a competitve match was something else.. I gibbed myself a lot..

Probably the first Dead Rising game. I've developed so many strategist on my own to overcome horrible AI and time constrains that I can do everything (except Zombie Genodier) in every single walkthrough.

Rocket Jumping is such a fun move to pull off, but it does screw me over sometimes..

Maybe not a master but I've played Super Mario 64 a lot and I can get the 120 stars in about 7 hours. And my K/D ratio on Halo is between 1.3(Halo 2) and 1.45(Halo reach).
