Sure it runs fine when nothing is happening, but 53fps almost consistent during one part and 46fps when there were a lot of particle effects.

Like I said in the other thread. The marginal effect resolution had on this game should have been removed to maintain a consistent 60fps and better graphical effects.

Thanks was waiting for this. Pre ordering now for DAT constant 60fps

”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)

A solid 60fps with marginal dips during the highly intense sections (of which there are only a few).

Not bad, not bad at all.

So it's always higher than the original version? Enough said then i think.

Kinda surprised by how significant those frame dips are. This is a 1st party game of a PS3 port, yet maintaining a consistent 60 fps is still a struggle.

"A struggle"

lol

Surprised it's not locked 60, didn't the devs say something about going higher than 60FPS or was that a rumor?

Anyways if I ever want to try this game I'll be picking up this version.

This was made for PS3 architecture specifically and its rematered (not remake) in under year on new console just launched. Still, ND did a great with this and its really hard to control game engine under heavy load for every kind of situation to lock the FPS in the complex worlds with dynamic effects unlike Nintendo games(praised for 60FPS) which are based on completely art and simple design without complex worlds and effects like these kind of games which are easy to mainitain.

Lets see how Halo collection holds under heavy load which has 10 year old game in it.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
