Forums - Sony Discussion - What do you want see in Destiny Full Release?

So beta is over, almost everyone I know was blown away by a BETA. When is the last time that as happed? I remember Diablo 3 was considered a "good" beta because they let you go to the skeleton king.... Ok back to the topic. I cant help but think what they will add. So here is my list of things I hope we see either in the Sep 9 release or at least down the road.

1. Cant wait to see the other Multiplayer maps, Venus was a blast, the moon was great and will be better once the vehicles get adjusted.

2. More mission types, who really thinks the only 3 types of missions are Story, Strike and Explore- I want to see some Meta events, like 24 guardians on a battlefield defending  against tons of enemies with a few Massive bosses thrown in, yes it would be a mess, but battle is messy too (fog of war)

3. PvP on massive scale, but tactically focused with defensive structures, seige, and of course vehicles. This is more of a "down the road" type wish I think.

4. War Clans- They teased this, I assume it is how Destiny does Guilds, and I was to see how it works. And yes we need a VGC War Clan.

5. PvP modes- Control modes is fun, I am sure there will be a Team Deathmatch and a "every Guardian for himself mode" but what else? I cant wait to see.

6. Subclasses- I read through the descriptions for the Titan Subclass and I like what I saw, will definity allow coordinated teams to build roles for their team members.

7. Exploration Mode- It was fun, but there definity needs to be more going on, places to explore, more community events, I hope there is more on launch, but I am sure content will be added over time.

8. Old Russia was cool, moon was intriguing..... I want see the other beatiful worlds Bungie was crafted. And please let one zone be some sort of ancient (think Incan) city of course now infested by bad guys.

Ok I will stop there, could go on. The Beta really opened my eye to the possibilities in this game lets hope Bungie uses Destiny's full potential.

Also on a side note- I made this in the Sony forum so we could share our PSN I'ds. I wanna get some VGC 6 man fireteams together and faceroll some Pugs.

So feel free to share your PSN id. mine is       tokila

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I just want affordable DLC. $30 every two or three months does not sound good for my wallet...

I dont mind 30 bucks if it adds 30+ hours of gameplay. My sweet spot is a least a dollar per hour I get from a game. But for certain Genres (like action) I am ok with 2 dollars an hour.

I just wan't them to remove auto aim completely or have the option to. I hate not being able to make accurate shots.

From experience, I would say even if officially the dlc packs were $30 every few months, you'll end up being able to buy codes for them online for half that.

I was able to buy BF3/BF4 dlc packs for 30% retail price within weeks of release.

It all depends just how much the DLC brings, which we won't know till closer to their release, if it's entire worlds and massive expansions, then even the $30 would be well worth it, if its extra missions on worlds we already own, then not.

The potential is there, though, for the DLC/Addons to be virtually limitless, and so long as they evolve the experience (increase level caps, abilities, add new classes, subsclasses, weapons, armour, items etc) to match that evolution, then i think it'll be amazing.

Theres also the potential for newer versions of the game to include the DLC on disk, too.

True. There would have to be a ton of new conmtent to justify $30 every few months for perhaps years. Maybe waiting for the game of the year edition would be optimal for getting all the DLC for cheap

I still wish there was a $60 season pass that covered all future DLC, but ah well.

I want a little more of a branching skill tree so that each character even if same class will very different from each other.Other than that it was a good beta and now the waiting begins.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

(most important)Better AI

Do something with the chat to make it more social.
Less repetitive stuff in Explore.
Multiple paths through levels
Dont spawn me in the middle of 10 guys during strike
More emotocons
Reasonably priced DLC

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

My personal hopes for the future in Destiny:

* Increasing level cap progressively as the game world grows, and new content is added, much like other MMO's have done, preventing people from burning out and hitting high level caps with little reason to play new content.
If an update/DLC brings you an increased maximum level and abilities, then it has more value.
* More expansive skill set, with branching skills rather than "get everything".
* Updated/events changing the base world, A large war breaking out in a DLC that not only adds new areas but effects the existing areas would be awesome, giving you reason to go back and explore existing areas again.
* Special events, server wide events much like they were doing on the last day sporadically, mass invasions of the cosmodrome, hundreds of enemies at a time flooding the map, it was awesome.
* Extra game modes, a space-oriented game type where your chosen ship plays a part in it
* To match the ship game type, a racing arena for sparrows, where again, your chosen sparrow plays a part.
* User-generated emblems/armor shaders would be fucking awesome.
* Keep on adding hidden/hard to find content, and unexplained world items unlocked gradually via lore.
