Septerra Core, so many good memories. I used to play it back when i lived in colombia and my dad had brought me some PC games from his trip to the USA. I didn't know a lick of english and I am amazed i got at least 3 hours worth of story and progress. I'm currently replaying it.

Pharaoh (1999)

I am pretty sure that was Half-Life 2, I even re-bought old classics on Steam when they sold cheaply enough!

For me, my last boxed game was Left 4 Dead. It's attached to my Steam account though, and I don't remember the last time I used the disc.

Diablo 3 CE, I am a sucker for blizzard collector editions... I am however forcing myself to stop. Going digital from now on with pc.

The Witcher.

I bought the Orange Box in 2008 because it was cheap ($10) and I could add it to my Steam account, thus removing any need for another pointless box / disc.

Skyrim, the special edition back in 2011. I do kind of miss buying the games physically especially Civilization and Age of Empires, they threw in a lot of stuff extra like tech trees, overviews of civilizations and units.

Yeah, I hope Civilization beyond earth will have those extras in the box instead of PDF files on the disc.
This was very useful to have with Alpha centauri, and looked great too. Alt-tab and zoom in on a jpg or mess around with a pdf sucks in comparison.

I doubt it though, you can't even fold that map to fit in a dvd case.

I should be getting the large box edition of Wasteland 2 soonish, seems that Kickstarter project is coming out in August. Promised worn cloth map and old school instruction book. I guess that makes Wasteland 2 my last boxed pc game, not deus ex: hr.
Civilization beyond earth will be it otherwise, doubt I can download it once, nevermind twice, and I'll certainly want to install it on both my desktop and laptop.

Yeah sadly I don't know if they'll go through the trouble to give us a literal box as opposed to just a DVD case. When I bought Civ 5 for my friend it came in a normal dvd case so sadly it seems those days are gone. Wasteland 2 seems interesting, I'll check it out when it comes out.

Cant remember when but it was the unreal anthology

Diablo 3 and before that Heroes 5 as it was like $10 somewhere
