Forums - Sony Discussion - Something's wrong with LittleBigPlanet 3. Think about it before opening.

It's not on the Vita.

If you've played LBP Vita, then you know how good the game can end up looking.  LBP3 would certainly be a drop in quality, but just as much of a drop in quality as LBP Vita was in comparison to LBP2(even though being different games.)  Sony is all about cross gen lately between PS3, PS4, and Vita.

Is this Sony saying they're done with the Vita?  As if the other announcements they've made weren't enough.

I was told to wait until Gamescom & TGS for the VIta. So I'm waiting until Gamescom & TGS :(

Sony likes making money

The Vita already has its own LBP; the best in the series even. The Vita doesn't need LBP3. What the Vita needs is its own experiences. Hopefully, Sony realizes this.

What's wrong with LBP3 is how quiet Sony has kept about it, the game's due in about 4 months so Sony better start creating some interest for it soon, Gamescom is their next chance.

Remote Play?
Also remember that Media Molecule isn't making it this time, its Sumo Digital who actually worked on the LBP2 Cross Controller Pack but not the game itself.

If anything, that looks like Vita support experience right there.
However, while I like the addition of new Sacks they better prove themselves with the IP and get the game right, many franchises tank in gameplay when different studios get their hands on it...

The vita is a commercial failure.

The ps4 is a commercial success.

I agree with this.  Infact, both Vita and PS4 lack their own experiences imo.  Look at the list of games Sony is publishing in the near future and have published in the past few months.  God of War Collection, Jak Collection, Sly Collection, Ratchet and Clank Collection, Borderlands 2, Epic Mickey 2, Dead Nation, etc.

Atleast with LBP3, it'd be a multiconsole release rather than a port that people more than likely already have on another console  It's not giving the Vita its own experiences which it's in dire need of, but maybe there are people who own all the systems who would instead purchase the Vita version if one came out that wasn't a year+ old port.

Besides, it's not about wanting the game on Vita, I'm just referring to what it looks like.  That Sony, who's been very heavy on all the cross gen, multiconsole releases between PS3, PS4, and Vita, is not releasing this game over to the Vita.

lbp vita is still capable.

lbp 3 is really just cause ps4 is out.

its on ps3 because lbp 2 is free on plus (or was for a huge while) and loads of family-ppl play
