I don't buy used games anyways so it would not have affected me, but I can understand how it can be a deal breaker for others.

Wouldn't have affected my purchase decision that much.

i would wait until the gen was about over and had a wealthy supply of cheap games and consoles and game on pc until then and enjoy my old consoles more.

I would have held off on the PS4 and stayed with PC and PS3, although I do not purchase used games (but i do use gamefly). I'm not desperate enough for a Wii U.

As others have said it would have effected me since I don't tend to buy used games anyway! PS4 would still have gotten my love

I would have gone pc only.. To people who think it is hypocritic just remember that games on steam are far cheaper than on any console.. I also dont mind it when it is digital (i have actually been buying all my ps4 titles through the store because it is cheaper as a european to buy them from US store than at local retail. It is when a physical disc suddenly has no value i get mad. It is supposed to be a product you can do with however you want not just a license. If there were guarantees that xblive and psn prices were to go down to steam level i would embrace the future but they habe done nothing to give us that impression

Not bought a PS4 and likely bought a Wii U. My interest in gaming likely would have dramatically decreased.

Well, I'd still buy the PS4 but with much less enthusiasm than before. I have no interest on getting a Wii U; there's no games there that I find appealing. And most certainly I wouldn't go all PC because I really hate playing with keyboard and mouse. Warframe being a recent example. And the "Master Race holier-than-thou" part of the community really drives me off. I know it's only a small few, but they are the most vocal and annoying, and I wouldn't like to be part of them. So I'll swallow my pride and get a PS4, even if it has DRM. Maybe I'll start buying more games digitally.

Ironically, I only have Digital Games, as long as Sony lowered retail game prices I would be fine. If they did Xbone DRM though, I would be Wii U till I invest in a new PC after College.
