Forums - Sales Discussion - What would you have done if Sony had joined Microsoft in killing off used games and game sharing?

What would you be playing on in a Sony+MS DRM world?

Wii U baby, gotta support... 145 48.66%

Who cares I want my Halo/... 61 20.47%

PC all the way... but i'm not a hypocrit! 78 26.17%

Mobile games = Teh Futcha 1 0.34%

PSV / 3DS would get all my love 13 4.36%

Total:298

Would you have gone Wii U?

Would you have bought PS / MS console anyway?

Would you have gone PC only, even though it was PC which invented used game killing DRM?

Would you have gone mobile only with all those juicy free games?

I would have sticked with my WiiU and my PC!

Quit gaming.

It would have been a very crappy move.
But I buy everything digital anyway, so I would still buy a PS4.

It wouldn't have affected me one bit. I don't buy used games (that I like). I don't see the big deal about it so I would have still gone with a ps4.

Gamestop would've been fucked left, right and center because the two biggest third party centric consoles were DRM friendly with 90% of the industries games. Thank god for Sony because MS lost their damn minds.

I would be a Nintendo-Gamer all the way!

Still PS4 (and PC). My issues with XB1 had nothing to do with that as i don't buy used games nor do i ever sell mine (unless if in dire need of extra money, which thankfully only happened once so far)

Probably do nothing different.

I would have purchased Wii U and upgraded PC. I was kinda mentally prepared to avoid PS4 / Xbox One if they killed used games. Consoles are not backwards compatible and its a crime to put DRM in it.
