Yes, ratchet426 nailed it. Damn, I was just about to post the same thought.
Zanten, you now realize that "The Last of Us" will boost PS4 hardware sales in August,
whereas, there is not much to boost XB1 sales in the same month.

Yeah, I had actually completely forgotten about TLOU, or more specifically that it was releasing so close to the end of July; for some reason I had thought it was releasing a bit further inwards. o.O Oh well! Live and learn. x3

Over on the Playstation Blog someone posted this in the comments for a article on TLOU:R's new "photo mode":
"The Last of Us was the best game ever made when it launched (before any patches or DLC). Remastered is just insanely good. 60 fps, 1080p, developer commentary, photo mode, 15 maps in multiplayer at launch (more to come later)… Seriously, I preordered the Destiny/PS4 bundle, but now I think I can’t wait and I’ll just buy a PS4 next week so I can play Remastered much sooner."
So yeah, I think TLOU:R might drive some sales in August. Remember the (30% ?) of former X360 owners who've jumped ship to the PS4 this gen and have never played this game before. Once THOSE people pick their jaws off the floor after putting in a few hour of TLOU in all it's 1080p/60fps glory you can bet they'll be encouraging their X360 buddies to pick up a PS4.
