Forums - Gaming Discussion - I've come to the realization that most first party Nintendo games suck.

You don't like some Nintendo games and now you think that Nintendo is doing the worst first party games of the group of 3 manufacturers? This is all about your tastes.

Personally, I have never enjoyed a Sony game since the first playstation and I couldn't care less about all Microsoft games since they shut down Ensemble Studio which was doing Age of Empire on PC.

If Nintendo did not exist, I would stop playing videogames on console as I have no interest in the kind of boring, generic and uninteresting games that Sony and Microsoft try to do.

Oh boy now you have done it! Nintendo and suck don't go together on this site.

Lol. Ik. I don't know what's happened recently. I feel like this site used to lean towards sony a bit. But ever since e3, it's felt like this site is slowly becoming nintendo dominated.

Its alos because a lot of the big Sony supporters have mysterious gone MIA lol.

I dont like every first party Nintendo franchise, but thats usually because I dont like that particular genre.

Same with every other company...

Like how I have come to realize a lot of the competitors first party games suck...to me. You can have fun with them but its not really my cup of tea anymore.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

I agree with the op to a point. I don't play all or even half of the Nintendo games, but I recognize that I don't have any interest in them.

This will break a few hearts, but I will say, the new Mario Kart didn't impress me. I was hoping for some significant improvement or change. Even the graphics are still pretty low grade. Do I hate the game? No. Just not impressed. I feel like it is just more of the same. Will I play it again? Yes, but not nearly as much as I thought I would. I played it 45 minutes and haven't gone back yet.

Not being impressed with anything yet on the WiiU is not surprising, just disappointing. Same goes for the XB1 or PS4.

It is near the end of the end....

Bad choosing.

Yoshi- only amazing for collectors in platforming.

tomodachi - sims.......duh.

Kirby - apparently it is easy but I find it hard to 100%. It is still very fun and MUSIC is amazing.

Get the Next Zelda game , complete the story, and tell me again.

I don't play nintendo first party games anymore, not unless their new ip's. Wonderful 101 (owned by ninty) good. Mario bad

So we can assume you dont play any sequels. Uncharted 4, Gears/God of War 4, TLOU2, Halo 5, Mirrors Edge 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, GTA5. You are going to miss out on a lot of good games.

Oh no, sequels I play. I'm just bored of seeing mario on the screen as my main character in many games across many generations.

Not to say the games are bad, but I really want something truly fresh of nintendo. Like a good character I can care about again.
I honestly don't care for mario anymore.

I can handle new legend of zelda games, all the stories feel truly different and unique, and often different art styles etc.

But mario just bores me now (as a character) and even if i'm in the minority, I want my money to go to new characters/ip's in nintendo's world.

Conspiracy theory???

2 3DS games =/= most 1st party Nintendo games, sorry to say, especially when one of them wasn't even developed by Nintendo...

Current Consoles: Gaming PC, Wii U, 3DS
