1) Yoshis new island was not developed by Nintendo
2) Kirby Triple Deluxe is actually aimed at children
3) Tomodachi life is for the weird Sims crowd
4) Go play Zelda - you sound a bit sour and in need of a good gaming experience.
5) You cant hate first party games because they sell well at full price

Did the OP come in here complaining about Nintendo First Party titles sucking, list a game made for children, a second party title, and a very popular game from a genre he doesn't like as his proof?

Well, it doesn't really matter. People are just going to buy the ones they enjoy anyways.

That's a startlingly powerful realization, considering how far from the truth it is.

Opinions being what they are, still, I'm sorry, but by and large, most of their first party content hardly "sucks", and more than Sony's does. They are known for quality, and while not all are amazing, most are at least pretty damn good, and some ARE amazing.

How about you first play games like 3D World and MK8 and then come back and complain about how most first Nintendo games suck? Just a suggestion!

I think the OP is a bit extreme. I believe that alot of the Ninty games are very overrated. For instance NSMB, pick one. But that doesnt take away that they are very well made games and are fun. I really cant think of a Ninty title that i played that I truly believe sucked. I even kind of dug Metroid Ohter m

actually i can think of one I really though Metroid 2 was boring as hell.

I honestly feel the same way about most MS first party, but again, all opinion.

TBH, most first party games just suck IMO. As for ninty, the only good series they make is fire Emblem. I've only played Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Decent but flawed SRPGs but in such a thin market for the genre, anything is good.

The rest of their stuff is just overrated IMO.

For M$, their best 1st party series still running is Fable. I only played Fable on the original xbox. Apparently the series has gotten worse since. I won't know because I never had a 360. Rest of their stuff is meh.

As for Sony, they slipped up big time in the ps3 gen. The 1st party games I have on ps3 are Killzone 2, GoW3, Resistance 2, Infamous and LBP. Of that list I only paid for KZ2 and Resistance 2. KZ2 is the best MP shooter I ever played. Resistance 2 and GoW3 were just boring. I got Infamous and LBP for free when due to the PSN outage and still haven't played them to this day. They just don't interest me at all.

Third party games are what really drives gaming IMO which is why I cringe every time I see people ignoring them in favor of console war ammo aka exclusives. To be fair, some 3rd party games are exclusives.

Some lonely people can to anything shameful just to get others attention...
