though one little nitpick, Starhawk probably shouldn't be there? It's not a sequel per say but.. it's a spiritual successor, probably shouldn't count.

I'd personally rank both Nintendo and Sony's 1st parties as equals in regards to quality, but Sony really have crushed them in the last decade when it comes to creating major new IP.

Nintendo have done an incredible job at maintaining the quality of their pre-existing IP, but it would be nice if they were a bit more... adventurous. Hopefully splatoon does well and convinces them to invest in new ideas like it. I currently think splatoon itself looks awful (based of the gameplay I've seen at least), but if it opens the floodgates for other new IP then i hope the best for it.

It would also be nice to see Sony invest in a few more mascot type titles. The PS3 continued a few in various forms, but off the top of my head LBP was the only major new one.

Really wish they'd make a Legend of Dragoon 2 for PS4!

Solid list for the home consoles.

I was hoping for that since the ps2. Then I heard some rumor for the ps3, then my heart shut down.

Yup, it's really sad to see that none of the big three have too many RPG's to their name.

This is why I stopped getting Italian plumber game and started supporting Sony.
