Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Bayonetta and Devil's Third are a good start.

For a lot of Playstation/Xbox owners, the lack of genre depth on Nintendo consoles is a major issue. Adding atypical content can only help.

Just give them their yearly FIFA and COD and they will be fine

Devil's Third won't sell, Bayonetta will sell 500.000 - 750.000 top

Well Bayo was a mild hit at ~2mil sold, and it developed a loyal cult following. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect 1mil for the sequel, especially when it's bundled with the definitive version of the original, including the new costumes/mods, for free.

Well they could help Crytek out I guess...

What does crytek even have left worth saving?

Ever heard of Timesplitters?

They have announced nothing for it and the state they are in most of the staff that makes the game could be gone. So they would have to do a lot to get that working if anyone bought them. And seeing how far the last one came out I don't think anyone wants to put in the effort for a game game that will do pretty average in today's market.

My prediction is that Bayonetta 2 will sell 1.8 million lifetime.

You're including the later PS4 port in that figure, right?

The game is made by Nintendo so no port is possible.

How do you know whether it developed a loyal cult following or not based on one game.  Now the Final Fantasy series, die hard Nintendo fans, etc[name one of multiple brands here?]  Those have a loyal following.  When you've got fans so loyal to the series/company they'll buy the games no matter how bad the series has got lately, that's loyalty.  Until Bayonetta 2 releases, you really don't know how loyal the following is.

That will happen when the TLOU:R and LBP3 ports come to Wii U.

I know Timesplitters wouldn't do that great in today's market ( mostly because it's not a generic dude-bro shooter), but I still want a Timesplitters 4!
