Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox One is getting a minor change to its boot screen

The Xbox One's boot screen is getting a minor design change with the next update, judging by a user report on Reddit.

Posted by an Xbox Ambassador on the Xbox One sub-reddit, an image alleged to be of the new boot screen appears to show a row of three dots under the Xbox One logo, presumably to keep users informed of whether the console has frozen on boot up.

Another user added that they thought the "green 'X' in the logo pulsed, but it was an extremely subtle effect".

The August update has begun rolling out to preview members today, and is due to roll out to all other users next month. Besides a new boot screen the new update is due to improve the console's social features and introduce support for 3D Blu-rays.

You spoil me M$. You make me hate you for constantly changing your vision. Then you give me cool things to make me forget about your evil ways. Stop messing with my feelings

My One updated last night. And asked this morning if I wanted to calibrate my Kinect speech settings. Right in the middle of a dark zone in Destiny, causing me to die :(

I'll never understand why stability is frowned upon.

Because stability updates are boring! People want something concrete, like a teddy bear that goes "mew mew".

why not both

New boot screen confirmed. I always felt like the Xbone froze up, myself, when it was on that screen for a long ass time. Good little addition.

Cool stuff:

Now I can spurge up people's feeds!

Look at all these bitches playing Destiny and Titanfall.

Long hold the Xbox button and the left and right triggers give you a tingle.
