I don't play Betas as I have such a backlog of really good full games to play I dont have time, but reading some online impression I am intrigued with Destiny. The real questions I want to see answer are

1. Do you like it

2. Will it be the game that ushers in Gen 8 (like COD4 did last gen and GTA3 did the gen before)

I know it is on last gen console, but with this game like CoD4 force people to upgrade to get the full experiance?

I'm interested too. Especially on PS3.

But to answer yout question:
1. I love it. Wasn't going to buy the game, but after Beta it's day one purchase
2. Probably not. I see this game doing well on last gen consoles, especially on PS3 which is the only console that does not require subscription to play online, so that might be incentive to those people not to upgrade.

I found it a bit boring... didn't grab my attention as much as I was hoping. Hopefully that will change over the next couple days.

It's very much like Halo, which is a good thing! Played on 360...

Very Halo/Mass Effect/Borderlands-like, except the multiplayer which isn't a strong point. Kinda unbalanced, but still a day one buy. I hope the story/dialogue is better than what's been showed in the beta.

The campaign is boring, theres not really a story, just a bunch of quests that make you defend ghost against huge hordes of enemys, the multiplayer was fun, but the maps are kinda small. overall the game has great sound,graphics,and gunplay and is a really fun game, but not goty worthy.
