Every single major Nintendo console franchise will have at least released one game on Wii by the end of the year. The last one is Smash Bros. Nearly Everyone who wanted a Wii U will have gotten one imho. The next Zelda is also cartoony so it wont sell much hardware since those dont sell nearly as much as the realistic ones. Wii U is also at a prime price at the moment and still isnt doing that hot. I think Wii U will hit 9.5 million by the end of this year and 12.5 million by the end of next year. What do you think?

Next year.

2015 should be the peak year for Wii U. Mzuzek covered all the basis all ready

most nintendo games dont work like xbox, ps and multi games that sell well on first week then vanish.
nintendo games sell all generation.
mk8 will sell very well next year.

also, ninty said 2014 wont be the peak year of wii u.

I think so. WiiU should end up at around 10.5m by the end of this year. Then it will sell another 4m next year and will go on to reach 17m lifetime.

Just my prediction.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Probably, big games will keep selling a good amount of software, but Wii u should peek this year, though it could be 2015 too but not by a huge margin compared to 2014.

I am going with 2015, while 2014 brings MK8 and Smash, 2015 has alot more games coming in such as the muchly hyped Zelda U, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (canvas curse sequel), Star Fox U, Devil's Third, Splatoon, and Mario Party 10

I agree with you with Wii U being at 9.5m by the end of this year but I think by the end of 2015 it should be around 14m at the least

2015 and 2016 will be way more brilliant than 2014 :)

LOTS of unannounced goodies!

Very unture, we didn't get any Kirby or Metroid games, and the only Zelda game we got was a remake

Not a chance. There are still important games to come and it will probably peak the year it drops to $199 in the USA.
