Even with this, I still mildly agree with the point toast boy was getting across, and your comment furthers my belief in that regard.

Your console is so under used you may as well not have even had one, Come on the sticker still in tact perfectly underneath the disk tray?

If the 360 was something you spent enough time on to have a valuable opinion of it's experience that thing would have at least started to peel by now.

ofcourse you'd have gripes about small issues on something you barley use. Esspecially if it's different than what you are used to. primary 360 users aren't bothered by something so petty, it's nit picking.

It's  a GAME console and when it plays GAMES, there arent any adds........What exactly are you using it for? If it's game you want to acces thats easy to find with the quick dash............Arghh smh people these days.

Why would the sticker peel? And you underestimate how much I used to use my 360. I took it to college, where me and my friends played GTA V and Halo 4 on it pretty much every single day for almost a year. I've had plenty of experience with it, even if I use other consoles more,  and as a gamer who isn't primarily a 360 gamer but still has plenty of experiences with the console, I can say with no bias that the ads are intrusive.

My 30-year old NES still has a sticker and it's been used so much, as you could easily see.

Not the same thing, it's a differnt product by a different company. I'm going by the fact that my 360 slim's sticker naturally fell off over the time I have had it. and I barely ever relocate the console.

Well, I've relocated my console tons, and its never fallen off. I've had it for three years.

I don't know what else to say. You guys brand me a hater and someone who has no experience with Xbox even after I post a picture. I have plenty of experience, enough to know that the ads are horribly intrusive.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

I'm with you bro. i miss the old dashboard

Only games no bullshit

i hate them they are annoying especially when they have sound.

I wish they were gone. TBH let me adjust the size of all thos stupid tiles. and rearrange them like in Win8

Let my Game/DVD tile be huge and let me deactivate the annoying ad tiles.

Shoving stuff in my face to try to entice me to buy should be in the devices store and not the homescreen.

What's there to complain about? What's being shoved down your throat that's worth coming to VGC with complaints reminiscing torture procedures?

Gamers are the worst on the internet. If that bothers you, I'll put it like some of your friends said on the TLOU thread: "don't buy it".

It's an advice!

You're right, gamers are the worst, just look at you in this very thread. Someone has a complaint and you just try to make them look ridiculous for not being like you and not giving a damn and just falling in line. Now saying they are comparing it a torture procedure.

You don't care, we get that. Don't take that as meaning your opinion > others and anyone that thinks differently to you has some sort of problem.

You are absolutely ridiculous.

Thread has nothing to do with TLOU by the way, plus I don't know about these "friends" of mine, unless you think this is some sort of PS vs. MS thing, which would be even more ridiculous.

Oh yea, your advice is "don't buy it"? Well, he didn't buy an XBox One, and his 3-year old 360 used to not have a homescreen like it has now. Can't give him "don't buy it advice" when he already bought it, and well before it was hit with the Metro interface.

You're right, it's not the same thing. Just because yours fell off doesn't mean his would as well. My other two NES don't have this sticker anymore, well, likely due to one of them not even having the cover piece anymore either.

Back when I had my 360 I loved the blades. It was so easy to use and so nice to look at.

It seems you don't know the definition of an ad. A console showing content that it offers for the user are not ads. PS4 actually has more ads than Xbox One.

His issue with the ads is that these are ads that should be displayed if you went into the XBox store. On PS4 you get ads like these too, but only when you choose to go into the Playstation store. They are not shoved in your face on your home screen. The exception is if I were to load up Watchdogs and hovered over my game icon for the title, it will show underneath some of the available DLC.

When you first turn on your PS4 the only thing thrown in your face is your games and other apps you downloaded. Your content is the main focus.

It is like that on PS4, WiiU, iPhone, Android, etc... The ads for movies, games, apps, etc... are all rightfully thrown at you when you enter that devices shop.

By the way, if the console is displaying a title for a game you do not own and shows it is on sale or that it might be the kind of game you like, it is an ad. Just because the content of that advertisement is games doesn't change from the fact that it is an advertisement. They are trying to get you to buy something, which is an ads purpose.

I applaud you for that
