It just a survey it dosn't mean nothing

Why do surveys always mean nothing when something good for Ninty. I'm not saying anything about you specifically but literally every single survey or poll that shows Nintendo in a positive light is dismissed on like, the first page, almost every time.

For me it's always mean nothing even if it's about Sony or Microsoft .

I didn't believe Sony when they said  31% of  new PlayStation owners PlayStation 4 had an Xbox 360 or Wii in the last generation, but skipped the PS3.

They ask only 1000 gamers how could that mean something

I get you about the sample size, I just feel people dismiss surveys in general more often than the should.

That sample is pretty small but I'm sure there's suppposed to be some extrapolation principle that makes it not /too/ off or something. I honestly dont know though because I havent studied that stuff in years.

Still low when you look at how much they showed at E3. Sony basically just turned up.

Funny how after this year's E3, most everyone everywhere agrees that Nintendo's show was the best, even clamouring for Sony and MS to do digital events in the future instead of live presentations - while before E3, basically everyone who wasn't a Nintendo fan was like 'lulz Nintendo haz no live conference, teh Wii U iz d0med, Nintendo is irrelevant'. Funny how the tides have turned.

Of course.. Nintendo is doomed everytime they try something different... *cough* Wind Waker *cough*

That's good. Competition is good.

Also, nice for Zelda. I hope it sells a lot.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

yes, the wii u is dominating :(

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Funny thats the first time ive heard that.

I didnt mind Nintendos pre recorded conference, but it was still stiff like there directs. Its harder for them as they dont have many presenters or choose to interview alot of there staff that dont speak English tho.

It worked well enough that i imagine Nintendo will keep doing them, but i dont think anyone else will follow.

It shows that Nintendo's presentations at E3 did the job they intended to do.

To the people asking why this doesn't matter, just look at NPD sales. According to this, intent to buy the PS4 went down, yet the PS4 actually increased its average weekly sales in June and outsold its closest competition by 70K+, even though they had a price cut.

True, but the graphs only represent how effective the E3 presentations were in persuading people to buy their consoles who might not have considered buying them before. In that respect, Nintendo's E3 was the most successful. The results of the surveys have zero impact on NPD June figures, because the survey did not stipulate any time limit for buying them. Not only that, the presentations were for future, not existing games, and unless the pre-E3 survey was undertaken some time prior to MK8 being released, MK8's effect on the increase in intent to buy a Wii U in the future will have been low.

Good for Nintendo!!Nintendomination!!
