Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wii U purchasing Intent has increased by 50% after E3.

E3 matters, this is just part of the Wii U comeback I foresee. I think majority suring e3 thought Nintendo won, and MS/ other came second - clear correlation with this survey as after e3 the Intent increased most for Ninty and secondly for MS.

Interestingly, for PS4 intent has slighly dropped, but still very high! I do not understand the Green bars so lol. Furthermore, 89% of Wii U owners said they will buy the New Zelda - happy for my favorite series!!!

Hopefully this translates to actual sales down the line.

Post E3 translates quite well into the ratio of sales figures for the last 2 weeks.

See. That other thread about how Wii U sales are higher because people were disappointed with PS4 and Xbox One was onto something. The reason why the sales are higher is because the people who weren't interested in a next gen console yet decided they were now interested in the Wii U over the other two because of Nintendo's great E3 showing and the poor ones from Sony and Microsoft.

Sony's E3 was the worst, so you see the bar went down.  Microsoft's was better, went up a bit, Nintendo's was the best, went up a lot.

Huh... So the ps4's intent went lower but the x1/wiiU's intent went higher? Interesting

Most of the interest likely stems from Zelda. That's fine but it probably means there won't be much impact this year. In fact, once the Mario Kart boom subsides, the Wii U might be in for some lean times. Multi-plats will dominate this holiday season.

Or maybe mario kart, a game that sold 34 million last gen yes?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Hooray.. It all happened thanks to the Mii in Smash Bros 4 announcement..
