I don't know really. It could be bad going by Kagari's statement and the other mods on NeoGAF chiming in, or it could be that he was done. It seems to me to be bad, signalling more issues with management and staff at square-enix. That's my opinion though.

Square Enix could survive soley with their shitty Japanese iOS games, so it's doubtful that they ever close shop.
