Im mainly talking about the people I see in youtube comments. Who are die hard Minecraft fanatics.

You can not really enjoy a game without being hated by someone...

The way I see it, Minecraft is pretty bad at being a game, yet great at being a sandbox. If you aren't the right type of person, it can get boring really easily...

Well, there's the achievement tab for those who want something more linear :P

Its not that it is alinear, its just that it isn't really good...the easiest example is the bosses which have to be some of the worst I have ever seen. They also ignore the two main pillars of Minecraft (mining and crafting) which is a huge oversight. I have put far more time than I care to admit into thinking about how to "fix" Minecraft and every time I do, I just find more and more things that need to be improved to make it a good "game". However, it still succeeds in being a good sandbox, and that cannot be ignored...

I must be missing something here, but I thought sandbox was a type of game? :P

I don't watch Minecraft videos. Heck, I've never played it. But how are the die hard Minecraft fanatics crazy?

Some of them just take playing the game to the extreme, it reaches a point where it becomes an unhealthy obsession, thankfully those people are few and far between. atleast that's what I think he's talking about XP

Yeesh, so much negativity in some of these comments. Its just a game, no reason to generalize a whole playerbase over a few people who take it to the extreme o_o
