Personally, I would rather the new features are tested thoroughly. I want the new features, but not at the expense of stability! It NEEDS to be at 100% before they even think about releasing it!

Not sure if I understand what you're saying? I'm gonna keep doing what I do, i shut the PS4 off and i turn it on like normal (cold boots every time).

Well if it doesn't what is the point of the update then?

Stability is usually just a generic term they use. They really plug potential hack holes. And prepare for future updates that do add stuff. They probably also reduce file sizes and optimize programing code. People complain because they see stability and go "my system doesn't crash. What's there to stablize?"

Perhaps a reference to X360. There was a time in 2008-11, when after every "stability update" they would ban all the people who connected to Live via modded consoles, disabling their HDD in the process.

(not that they didn't deserve it, of course)

1,8 may have been the update to add the most features to the PS3. Let's hope they repeat themselves with the PS4.
