Forums - Sony Discussion - Many PS4 Owners Not Happy With Latest Firmware Update, Demand More Features To Be Added

It's gonna take some time, and I don't mind waiting too much.

What I really want though is external media support, DLNA support, and disc-based PS1/PS2 emulation.

It's an update that makes the console more stable. What's really to complain about?

To the last part: keep dreaming that's never going to happen.

Well, there are tons of rumors that Sony is woring on PS2 and PS1 emulation

It's pretty much inevitable that they'll make an emulator for the PS4, if only to be able to sell PS2 titles through the Playstation Store, but the question is whether or not they'll have disc support.

Yeah Sony, stop making the PS4 better!

They are mainly fixing problems with the PS4 and not really making it better. These problems shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Then they should complain about those problems in the first place, not the fact that they are being fixed.

"About 100 users not happy the other 8.4 million dont care" that should be your headline

People can be annoying sometimes...did they buy the console for what it was when they bought it or for what they hope to get?

Sure, more meaningful changes are always welcome but why is it that companies have to brig something better every few weeks nowadays? Just some years ago you could be happy if they change something every few years but consumers are now already at a point that you can't even satisfy them for a month.

I would really like the last one to come true. Raw powerwise, the PS4 should be more than powerful enough to emulate PS2 games.

Where's the friend plays my game over the internet if I need help feature they touted when Sony unveiled the system. That's a thing I want in. The media functions still don't exist. I don't care anymore. I bought a standalone BD player finally. But things that were in the PS3 should of been here by now. I would like unlimited recording. Instead of that 15 min limit. Recording indicators would be nice too. I never know where the 15 min window starts.

Not happy with a free update, but happy Sony is porting a year old game with a marginal resolution bump?
