Forums - Sony Discussion - Petition - Sony's first party titles with Physical Releases in EUROPE

Do you want to be able to purchase your games:

Physical and Digital - so everyone is pleased 69 79.31%

Digital ONLY - I'm a sel... 18 20.69%

Total:87

Releasing digital only games is a horrible idea. Digital should always come with a physical.

Yup and Vita is perfect for going digital only, to have every game ready to start on the console. That's my plan actually.

Perfect with its ovepriced digital releases that cost more than retail and memory cards that have a 400% mark-up compared to SD card and similar?

OMG, no clue why people dislike digital only games!

Yeah, memory cards are overpriced, but it's a one time expense. Get a 16gb or 32gb card, and go from there.

And overpriced releases? What? New games are the SAME price as the physical version, but with no tax. And Sony has had TONS of sales on some excellent Vita games.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Great that FW is being released on card.
Will still buy it digitally, it's much better value.

Sure memory cards are pricey and you have to eat up the cost once. As for digital prices, I see great discounts on PSN all the time, I don't have a Vita yet and have like 7-8 PSP/Vita games bought because they were sub 7€, in every case way cheaper than the physical counterpart if I,would even find them as they are not stocked cause nobody buys them.

Your philosophy of boycotting digital only games in Europe cause "you're treated as a second class citizen" expressed on the PS Blog is lol worthy though.

Sorry I don't bend over and take it in the arse.  A company tries to mug you off, you give them the finger, that is how it should be.

If you had any clue about the UK gaming market you'd know those 'sale' prices are a joke in several ways.

Haha mug you off, brilliant. The entitlement is off the charts here.

Not from UK so I don't know, but open to be enlightened.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I can understand soul sacrifice delta, but Freedom Wars and Oreshinka will be the systems biggest 1st party titles this year. Freedom Wars has been confirmed for physical, now Oreshinka! :)

Not on EU store.

Yes they are...on the EU store.

Now the UK store, that I don't know.

That's why I refused to be an ignorant mug, and have my Vita tied to an US account.

Does anyone from europe buy digital new releases from PSN? I would like to meet them..

(new game) Transformers rise of the dark spark ps4 69.99 euros in the PSN store.. cheapest retail is 49.99..average retail between 59.99 and 64.99.. Grid Autosport ps3.. 59.99 PSN.. cheapest retail 41.95.. average retail 49.99 (budgetgamer.nl).. why wouldn't you buy at retail?

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

These petitions never work.

These petitions always work with SONY, they are really good customers listeners! The fans just need to be united!

Sheesh, there's no need to tell him that! We all know that Sony is gaming god, that does only what the consumers want, and not what makes them the most money.

Do you feel like an idiot now that Sony just announced a physical release?

Why should I? What I said wasn't wrong. If sony thinks they'll make money of it they'll be doing it, not otherwise.
