Man, I hate this gen. Gonna stick with PS3 for a while now

...but the PS4 has vastly superior installation and loading times.

you better stick with PS2 than, cus the PS3 has a lot of games with installs too

Not really, none of them were 50gb. I have a lot of game data in my 160gb PS3 and never had problems with storage

PS3 installs vary anywhere from 4-20 minutes. Even the biggest installs on PS4 take up less than a minute of your time. inFamous takes ~23GB of your hard drive. I was playing the game around 15 seconds after inserting the disc. 50GB isn't a big deal at all when deleting the old data and reinstalling in the future takes up no time at all.

Oh, that's another thing. Deleting game data on PS4 is a much quicker process compared ot PS3.

That's not hard to pull off, I could build a small city in the time i takes the PS3 to delete something

I do agree with you though, even with the bigger file sizes the new installation set up makes the process a whole lot simpler/more convenient.

They absolutely suck for those who want to go digital only (and don't have a good internet speed), but great for those who prefer disks.

What a pain in the ass. Going all digital this gen is becoming worse and worse.

This is for physical.

Ugh. At this rate I can only buy 8 games for the system before I have to start deleting things.

Yeah, this blows that they decided to make the game installs this huge. Wish i would've upgraded my HDD. They're going to need to invent a 500 TB HDD for the PS4, instead of the 500GB, it currently comes with.

If the installs are so quick I don't see any problem with that, well except for going full digital which is my case in my country. And yeah, the installation progress in PS3 is slow as hell, so I tought having 40gb installing would take hours. My bad.

this is only a problem if you feel the need to get everything that comes out and keep your game save. I only play a handful of games at a time and toss them are trade them, once I'm done with them. lol

Running out of hard drive space is easy nowadays, on consoles anyway.

If you have the 500GB PS4 and nothing else I can see people running out of space quite fast if they're going to keep up with all these big games for this gen. Yes, you can get yourself an external hard drive, but that's not my point.

Ahh the only downside of this version -.-
