1º God of war
2º devil may cry
3º Onimusha

God of was epic and got a even better sequel;
Devil may cry was great but it was the 3 that put the series on the highlights.
Same for Onimusha;

eventhough i really love GOW and DMC except 2013 one but my vote is Onimusha
that game has high replay value for me......like fighting the bosses, solving the puzzles which is very rewarding, doing dark realm challenge and collecting flourite. i feel less overwhelmed when playing the other 2, but they still awesome nonetheless
oh and the Oni magic weapons are really awesome!

It looks like more DMC fans appeared after my posf..

Never played the first God of War, but both DmC and Onimusha: Warlords were amazing games. DmC was the better one; Onimusha: Warlords controlled like a PS1 era RE-game, which was its biggest flaw.
Onimusha 2 > DmC

DMC 87/100 GOW 95/100 Onimusha 89/100.But i vote Onimusha.

God of War. I remember when me and my brother used to argue over whether GOW or DMC was the better series. Good times.

I've played every single Onimusha game (even the fighting game) and I couldn't stand any of them except Dawn of Dreams. I liked the idea of the series more than the actual games.

God of War by far. Devil May Cry was never good to me until the 3rd one.

God of War>Onimusha>Devil May Cry for me.

Yeh....... DMC3 was a badd a$$ game indeed.

In all fairness, that is a very strong argument. I love them both.  I do however have to give the nod God Of War though. GOW 3 was such a powerfull game.......
