I would be much more on board with that concept.  Maybe see what happened in other continents?  Europe could be a great setting with a diverse cast.


I was thinking somewhere like africa or india, it's literally (mind the pun) uncharted territory for video games, and survival games.

Walking dead has focused all on america, as has literally every zombie game or apocalypse.

It really depends on the narrative and what drives it.  I appreciated The Last of Us for not doing the typical New York and Los angles setting.  Not many games have Pittsburgh or Salt Lake, be interesting to see Stockholm, Budapest or Kiev realised to me.  The big point is that it captures a tone and draws you in like the original did.
