But made in Canada, so kinda western.

Wasn't that Dead Rising 2 and beyond?

I believe so. I know Capcom Vancouver did 2 and 3 for sure. I remember my friend that worked there leaked 2 to us when he was drunk way before it was officially revealed.

PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m

I really believe it will sell well. I'm gonna go out and say over a million lifetime just in Japan and another 2-3 million in the rest of the world. So I see it doing 3-4 million lifetime. Which I believe is the combination of musou and Zelda fans.

It only hurts the genre if you are a person called Tom McShea.

It is a spin off, and more so a fan fare to the characters of the series.

It's actually the Zelda paint/mechanics are helping the Musou.

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

Zelda is rarely a hapless princess. She's usually a Ninja Pirate Goddess Warrior Astral-Projecting Mage of Light AND Sage of Time who represents Wisdom incarnate.

Also ALBW had some damn good puzzles - and for all their flaws some of TP's and SS's items were pure awesome. Not to say a fun spin-off focusing on Zelda's most overlooked pillar is a bad thing.

If she were so wise you'd think she'd be able to avoid getting kidnapped every damn time.

But yeah, Dead Rising is a pretty westernized game today, and it really is just a Musou. With everyone's favorite enemies, zombies. ...My god, someone tell the HW team to shop in zombies everywere, this is gonna be HUGE!

You say that like Zelda's franchise is a stranger to zombies ;)

Sheik, Darunia And Princess Ruto playable in Hyrule Warriors is frickin sick.

And yeah there are zombies in Zelda, but clearly the key to making Musou titles appealing to westerners is to make all the fodder enemies Zombies. Thousands of zombies.

You think just any character with some small amount of cunning and knowledge could evade Ganondorf at the height of his power for seven years while helping the hero and the sages the entire time? Or take over a pirate ship in their pre-to-early teens? Or understand the a time-warping battle plan they created back when they were the Queen of the Gods?

Bring me your champion of wisdom, knowledge, or cunning and - bar the Batman - Zelda will set their defeat in motion.

I really hope the epic spider fight from "the E3 demo" will be included in HW. Then all Zelda fans can play it and be happy everafter.Because HW looks more like the demo than Zelda U does.
