I can also say that I tend to dislike the 3D Zelda games (Ocarina of Time, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, etc.). I feel Zelda is better suited for 2D games, and Oracle Of Time (didn't play Seasons) is probably the most complete Zelda game I've played.

I assume you mean Oracle of Ages...

Those saying that anyone didn't like WW on GC aren't real fans or whatever are ridiculous and sound condescending. People are entitled to their opinions, and I would be willing to bet those that liked WW the least were actually the oldest and longest fans. Until WW, there was no debate over "artstyle". There was only one. Changing the look the character and making him so stubby with giant eyes was a poor decision, and it's pretty much the only game series I can think of that ever did that. I hate stubby toon Link. That said, the flat cel shading graphics hold up very well and the game has many virtues. I'm loving it in HD on Wii U. But us old fans had every right to be annoyed by toon Link and graphics and presentation are a very important part of any title. It is perfectly fine to say presentation can have a very negative effect on the experience.

OT: Nothing has topped the original for me so far. The precise, action-focused gameplay, great theme song, open world, awesome gadgets, exploration, everything about it was perfect for its day. ALttP, OoT, MM and WWHD are all fine titles in their own right, with OoT in particular being groundbreaking for its day. I have high hopes that Zelda U will return the series to its open-world, more action-exploration roots.

You can't go wrong with any of them except for the CDI games. My favorite would have to be Wind Waker. It has a life to it that I haven't seen matched in any other Zelda game.
