Am i the only one that feels there is something wrong with EA? I don't know if its just bad luck or generally bad business decisions. But they seem to always drop the ball whenever they seem to be just about to do something special.

First it was BF4. The hype that game had after its "fishing in Baku" reveal was astronomical. Then they released the game (buggiest AAA game ever released till this day) and have now probably completely damaged the BF brand forever. Then Titanfall. Dunno if it was bad luck getting into bed with MS (though considering the 360 they probably thought they were doing the right thing) but that was another lost opportunity. Just look at what Ubisoft did with watchdogs, they have successfully created another franchise that they would obviously go on to milk like they did with assasins creed. But it will at least be yet another 5-7M selling franchise. But EA seems to have completely blown it with Titanfall, the IP doesn't seem to command the same kinda success or even recognition that Watchdogs did and nowhere near all the fanfare that seems to be around Destiny. I can't help but feel that maybe Titanfall would have become an all round better game and IP if they gave it some more time and maybe even released it on the PS4 as it really doesn't seem like going exclusive did the IP any favors.

Now Activision has CoD and Destiny. Two Ips that would  probably sell over 10M copies each. Ubisoft has Watchdogs, Assasins Creed and The division (that seem to be doing the kinda platform exclusivity they did with PS4+watchdogs which I think is smarter) that all could be at least 5-7M sellers each. EA has what? Fifa and Madden? Those games are too regional to be veru successful. And even those franchises have people very disgruntled with EA over their lack of innovation in them. especially with Madden. Am I the only one that thinks EA needs to change a lot of things?

Destiny will sell 5:1 Titan.

Titanfall will sell 5 million, versus 25 million of Destiny.

Don't forget about Dragon Age, Mirror's Edge and that other new Bioware thingy.
Also I heard that SW:TOR is still doing quite well.

EA was beasting with new IPs last gen. I think they can do the same this gen.

People have know there was something wrong with EA for a long time, there is a reason why they were voted the two company two years in a row :D

OMG thats so true!!! I actually forgot about all those other great IPs that they somehow just seem hell bent on pissing away. Well I just pray they dont mess up dragon age and mass effect too much.

I agree. In the PS2 era it seemed like they were gonna devour the whole industry and they were releasing game after game. Fast forward to now they seem relegated to a top 5 place, and surviving on a small portfolio of games.

It seems to me they have switched places Ubisoft. From a small publisher that got a hit in PoP, to a gaming giant that finds success with every new IP.

Lol you know Sunset Overdrive isn't an EA game right? That whole little paragraph has no purpose.

Just like he knows Uncharted isn't an Ubisoft game :P

Woah I didn't even see that...I don't even...huh?!? He's criticizing EA for making platform exclusives yet thinks Uncharted (which I hope he knows is a PS3 exclusive) is made by a 3rd party publisher???

I agree that EA has a terrible reputation and with good reason, but I started highlighting all the errors in your post, and I gave up because there were so many.
