nintendo is doomed? lol yeah, this tablet with all the crap android sells is not even match for the WiiU, do you want power and great graphics? get a PC not a Ps4 not a Tablet.

34 years playing games.

I've actually been looking for a new tablet so this is tempting me. However, it's only 8 inches and I was looking for something more like one of the 10 inch Transformer Prime tablet/laptop hybrids.

Nvidia just cut the price to $199, and that includes the additional Shield controller!: http://shield.nvidia.com/tablet/k1

And for comparison sake Wii-U is.... still $299. I hate to say it but man did Nintendo mess up with their hardware configuration.

Good, this means the tecnology for a Nintendo handled-home console hybrid is there.

This. It only shows that Nintendo can release a really strong competitor in the NX.

For real? Going by that logic, Sony messed up with the PS4 because it took them longer than Microsoft until the first price cut.

Uhh wasent PS4 cheaper the x1 at launch making the fact MS cut price first irrelevent, negating what ever you attempted to say with your post.

So this confirms that Nintendo can Produce a Wii U Spec handheld for $199 in 2016? Great.

Microsoft got to $350 first because Sony messed up with their hardware configuration. Sony had to maintain their $400 price tag until recently.

Honestly sounds like fud to defend nintendo, you know they screwd up.

Or scarcasm, who know on the web really.

Looking at the Shield's spescs only makes me confident that NX is capable of beeing a low price console with extremely good hardware

You comparing two very different things..

WiiU is a Homeconsole in every way.. and it has ALSO the caperbilitys of streaming the game or multiplayer to the gamepad..

Nvidia Shield is not a homeconsole.. infact its just a tablet that does the exact same thing as other tablets.. mayby better priced but nothing like "the wiiU experince" where you have the buttons and touchpad together like a true handheld.. and also using a second much bigger screen.. with software there is optimezed for that..

(You may think you can do some of thoose things with Shield too.. and mayby they do make lots of games using two screens.. but you would still need a pc.. and then its not just "199$")

Ontop of that.. WiiU is a 3 year old system.. Shield is brand new.. (specs evolve pretty fast.. like it would not be fair to judge ipone 6 against galaxy 2 either)
