I took a look at the pre-order charts, and the numbers are HUGE! I'm sure Destiny will outsell CoD on next-gen, but will it be able to do it combined?

Doubt it. It will do great in the first month and then fade away slowly...

So, I came here expecting a Pavolink thread and now I'm dissapointed, but i'll answer and say no.

It would be a nice thing to see, im not so sure though. You know, its a new game VS.....a Call of Duty. Whats funny is that, its still a win-win for activision. COD (activision) and Destiny (Bungie/Activision)

I also think no. Destiny will sell really well, but CoD will sell more. Not that it actually matters, Activision is happy either way.

CoD will sell much better than Destiny...... sadly...... *sigh* :-/

Yes and not only, Destiny will sell more even of COD Ghost, and like Black Ops 2.

COD AW will sell less of 15 million, and i'm octimist... is more realistic 10-12 million.

Destiny will outsell COD by 2:1, Destiny is new king of sales this generation, only GTA will sell more.

I don't think it will for the year, but in the long term, yes. I think the COD name is just to big, and the COD game play just has a massive user base. In the long term though, I think Destiny will find its own massive user base, and if they have MMO style expansions planned, it will stay in the hot spot light longer.
