So first off, I hate megas in pokemon from the start, when they were introduced. Why I hate megas? Simple. All OP pokemon (or fan faves) get megas and the the red and blue starters get megas. (mawille and bannete exeption). Oh yes, why do they give charizard TWO megas and the other starters only one? What about mewtwo (the only mega legendary in the whole game)and the lucario you get for free?   See where I'm going... This was all to advertise the fan favorites for more money. What do guys think? Why make good pokemon amazing?  Why not make this a good idea and give the ok stat  pokemon megas, like torkoal and sunflora. I just think megas make the game unfair and easy

Well here's the thing. One OP Pokemon does not necessarily make the whole team OP, given the other team also has an OP Mega.

but its unfair for the pokemon that did not get one, not for trainers in battle, thats totally fair.

Ampharos, Medicham, Heracross, Houndoom, and Manetric?
I get your point, but they did what they had to do. Made amazing pokemon incredibly amazing (for sales), and made popular/not so popular pokemons (for the fans, and metagame).



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Mega evolution was never about the competitive game. It was always there to reward us fans with epic new designs of our faves. Something you also have to realise is that while Pokemon has a competitive game it isn't the most important thing. I would guess that less than a million people truly even play the games for the competitive scene, it's mainly the story and catch em all part that's most important.

Megas in general are not the problem. Mawille and Kangaskhan are the problems.

Jeez people should stop to hate stuff just because it's not "fair" for other pokemon. Or who wants a new generation without new water pokemon because it would be just fair for other types to catch up?
Pokemon was NEVER fair. And thats good because it would not be so popular otherwise.
