Well August is almost here and holiday start picking up in a month or two. Xbox One will be releasing in 3 times as many countries so people in those countries will be able to buy games and use online. The holiday is going to be absolutely packed will multimillion selling games.

By years end:

Xbox One will hit 11-13 million

PS3 will hit 16-17 million

Wii U will hit 9 million

80% of US sales are from black friday-christmas

So you think the X1 will sell 6.2-8.2 million units for the rest of the year? The PS4 7.6-8.6 million and the Wii U 2.4 million.

What makes you believe that the PS4 will only sell 12.5% better than the X1 (when averaging your predictions) when right now it has sold, according to vgchartz at least, 127% better than the X1 in 2014?

Of course. That's how it's been so far hasn't it?

Huh? Not during the Hoidays last year, so i dont see why it would outsell the Wii U this year with much stronger releases for the Wii U.

So you think that XOne and PS4 will basically sell about equally from now on?
I don't think so. PS4 will remain at least 1.7:1 worldwide.
So, if by some miracle XOne sells 6-8M consoles (which is not probable, I say 5M max if all stars align), PS4 should sell 10-13M more (and end up at 19-22M) and I don't buy that either

My prediction is that XOne will end the year at 9M, and PS4 at 17M.

You both are forgetting the only massive selling game the Wii U has is smash bros this holiday. Call of duty, the master chief collection, and destiny will each outsell it on xbox one. not to mention xbox one has things like assassins creed unity, sunset overdrive, a price cut, releases in more regions, dance evolution, etc
