Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Unfinished Swan rated for the PS4 and Vita

The PS3 indie hit The Unfinished Swan is making the jump to the PS4 and Vita if ratings by the Korean Rating Board is anything to by.

The Unfinished Swan looks like the next indie game in line to be getting the now-gen port after Sound Shapes, flOw and Flower all made the jump to the PS4.

The Unfinished Swan, developed by Giant Sparrow, tells the story of a boy named Monroe who travels through a mysterious world almost entirely of white. Monroe must throw bags of paint to highlight the environment to aid his navigation. It is a unique prospect and well worth a play through if you have not had the chance.

Giant Sparrow signed a three game deal with Sony back in 2012. It is unknown at this time if these ports will fulfil this obligation or if it is even Giant Sparrow who are on porting duty for the PS4/Vita version of The Unfinished Swan.

Liked the game a lot, thought it went under the radar so maybe some exposure on the PS4 would make it better.

Would rather get a new game from Giant Sparrow though.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Neat. This time I'll get it for sure.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I never got round to buying the PS3 version so i'd definitely give it a go on the PS4.

Should look lovely on ps4, especially the vine level that had some major slowdown on ps3.

Is it finished yet? : P

It would be cool if we could get some hardcore IQ as well as frame rate stability, given the visual simplicity. Imagine 1080p/4xSSAA.

Game was great. I really recomend it.

Might get it again on vita.

Loved it, especially the challenge of doing level without paint, only using sound and markers to make it through. Very different experience.

cool beans. if it is cross buy like flower and sound shapes was i'll replay it on ps4. it was a great game and that ending was epic, imo. i wouldn't rebuy it though so let's hope for another cross buy.
