197K - 140K in a region where the Xbox brand has been dominant for the past several years would not really be considered as having it's ass kicked. Now, if it outsold it 2:1, then I would agree with you.

According to some people America was never brand loyal so that doesn't matter.

I could say that Xbox is much more expensive, has no really great exclusives and a very big public image problem and is still selling more units. But I won't say that.

I could say Wii U gets no third party support, has a very big image problem in being confused with the Wii still, didn't even get a $100 price cut, and is still selling more units worldwide. But I won't say that.
