As you people may know, NPD figures were released recently for the month of June and it showed that PS4 sold most in the US, followed by XB1 and Wii U.

Well, according to VGChartz, the Wii U outsold the XB1 globally in the month of June. 

PS4:511,167

Wii U: 349,188

XB1: 299,560

3DS: 615,716

PSV: 164,686

PS4 is still dominating the home console market. 3DS is murdering the PSV. XB1 got a price cut yet was still outsold by the Wii U.

Is the Wii U still doomed?

EDIT: So it turns out that after taking NPD numbers te Wii U outsold the XB1 351k to 312k!

the wii u isnt doom until smash comes out and if that doesnt keep it selling consisent its still doom and notice one thing though
take junes npd 197k and 140k
102k ww for june for xbox one

but remember wii u came off with one of its big 3 and xbox one had a $100 price cut so yeah its inetersting

I'd wait for the adjustments. X1 could get a boost that brings it quite close to the Wii U.

I suppose so because there were two weeks where XB1 sold like 10k more than the Wii U whilw two weeks the Wii U sold more by like 5k to 10k, but I did not notice a 50k difference on the Wii U’s side for the month of June.

Well according to NPD the Xb1 sold roughly 50k more than the Wii U did. The Wii U was selling like 9.5k every week in Japan. So in a month that is like 38k in that month. So that is a 12k difference in favor of the XB1. In Europe the Wii U outsold the XB1 117,266 to 71,663. It turns out Europe and Japan were where the Wii U sales were pushed up.

that 50k difference can be chalked up to Japan really. If you look at the weekly Wii U sales in Japan for June its about 10k or a little more each week, which about he difference we see here.
