Market cap isn't always a good indicator for reality. We learnt that lesson with the internet bubble in the 90s. Granted, it's another thing with Microsoft, but it's still impossible that Nokia will ever make up for those 7.2 billion they paid for them. Most likely, they will just keep generating losses, even with all those jobs cut. So I still think that buying Nokia was a mistake.
