Screw the 3DS. If it is not on Wii U, I won't be buying it. Both... would be fine but no offense to the 3DS, it would limit the game.

I disagree, of course it's not as powerfull as WiiU but look at games like RE Revelations, 3d Land, and the upcoming Smash Bros. I'm pretty sure Metroid could make a big return on handheld. Especially if online.

Let me guess, you don't have a Wii U. Also, why are you telling me to look at games that have come out already? Smash bros is also coming to the 3DS and it ticks me off how currently, it is the definitive version as it does everything the Wii U version does but with extra game modes. Also, the Wii U needs a Metroid game more than the 3DS and not a 2D side scrolling one, it needs a full fledged 3D game or else people will just say 'oh look, another 2D side scroller". 3DS has plenty for it where the Wii U is lacking especially in the genra of metroid.

So? People say "oh look, another Mario Zelda Pokemon game" all the time, doesn't matter what genre as long as it's a good game is what really counts. I'm sure WiiU is the definitive version of Smash 4 as Nintendo is still hard at work and is going to release it later than the 3DS version. Also i told you to look at those games because they show what the 3DS is capable of. If a good 3D Mario or a good 3D RE game is possible on 3DS then we could definitely get a good 3DS Metroid.

Third person shooter Metroid for Wii U.

Just don't let Sakamoto touch it and everything will be fine.....

A metroid spinoff/puzzle game where you only play as Samus while in Morth ball would be interesting.

For eSHop

2D or FPA on Wii U, nothing on 3DS.

The last 2D Metroid was a long time ago, we got 3D ones in Corruption and Other M. So first the 3DS and then a fully HD Metroid.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

If the first new Metroid game ANNOUNCED isn't a Wii U title, sh*t will hit the fan. The Wii U needs the support the most right now. A grand return of the Prime series would give the Wii U two solid looking entries to the FPS genre, both with spins that make them unique.

I'm hoping for a double release like they did with fusion/prime. That is still one of the greatest moments in Nintendo history for me.
