Anyway, what is everyone's GOTY so far? (Who am I kidding, only Cold-Fire and AZW will see this)

Mine is probably Mario Kart 8. Although, The Last Of Us R could beat it once I beat it. I'm only 25% done I think.

Honestly, that's a tough one. Destiny is out, GZ is out. Might be a longshot, but COD Advanced Warfare might win it if Far Cry 4 doesn't.

GZ is Ground Zeros correct? I only like the Zombie mode in certain COD games. I'm just not good at FPS games, they confuse me. Ha!

My GOTY so far is also Mario Kart 8. It's my favorite MK game ever made for a number reasons.

Yeah, GZ is Ground Zeroes. I honestly don't like most of the FPS games, with Far Cry 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Red Faction 2 being the exception. I don't like any COD games except Black Ops 2 because for me it had the least absurd and most entertaining story from the series.

Yeah, it is a bad year for me. Destiny is fun, but not GOTY worthy. If The Last of Us Remastered wins GOTY, all hell is gonna break loose on every forum and gaming news site. For me, the best game of the year can't win because it's a remaster of a GOTY, and that would make it unfair for the rest of the contenders.

I've only bought one game that released this year (I have so many old games to play, why should I spend 60$ for a new game?) so Shovel Knight gets the crown for now. Smash will almost certainly top it though, as Brawl was my GOTG last gen
