Gotta start somewhere Lolll

I've been thinking about Fallout a lot lately. It's slow at work this time of year, which gives me a lot of time to day dream, and I've been playing Skyrim, which I consider boring compared to the Fallout series.

For instance, where should it be set? I think Florida would be nifty, especially around the Everglades, or maybe even another country. No more California/Nevada for awhile, please. Bring it back east.

I also hope we get a new engine. It's so strange to run across the same bugs in Skyrim that were in New Vegas and Fallout 3.

I want more single shot rifles. Those are my favorite guns in the series. I'm tired of the spray n' pray machine guns in video-games, I want powerful and precise guns where every shot is important.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about the incoming Zombie Apocalypse. I've already got my work-place response planned out.

I have to wait for mod approval before a new game and they haven't made a decision yet. ConeyG is helping me by letting me know updates, but for now it's a no-go.

Plus, I might want to wait a little bit before the next game. I'm going to implement new rules and have to get everything together first.

I haven't played a Fallout game before. Now that I have a PS4 though, I might try it out. As far as setting? Florida sounds nice. Something tropical would like nice IMO. I always like games better where decisions actually matter. 

The zombie apocalypse is totally going to happen someday. I'm not prepared though :(

Fallout, to me, has an awesome story and atmosphere.  The VATS system, which pauses combat and lets you set up an attack on a target or body part also gives it more of an RPG feel rather than just a twitch shooter.  I especially like that it lets you determine how you're going to play.  I like steath-sniping-lockpicking-hacking but someone can go with heavy armor and flamethrowers, if they wanted.

Setting the game in the Everglades would also allow for giant mutated alligators, which everyone should want to see.

Well, uhm...

About this time last year (June 2013 and before) I was a complete Nintendo fanboy. I called 10k boost that games did on the Wii U moving consoles, and didn't consider the current sales (20k weekly, I think) horrible!

On top of that, I thought that it wasn't Nintendo's fault that they weren't getting Third Party support, and that the developers were too lazy to put their games on Wii U.

I also, without researching, assumed that all Sony and Microsoft's first party games were generic/realistic (While completely ignoring the fact that I enjoyed Halo 3...)

What I think snapped me out of that is a comment on YouTube, telling someone how dumb they were for saying what I agree with.

BTW, I'm not trying to start a flame war or troll someone, so just don't say anything if you want to argue!

I've heard nothing but good things about the series so I'll for sure check it out. Wonder if you can rent it with PS Now? I'm assuming you can. If so, I'll rent one of them. I heard New Vegas was better than 3 so I'll start there :)

Yes, I feel ashamed for skipping it although I owned an N64...

I want the game to be set in a country other than America. I mean it's odd but I want my friend to shut up about how America is everywhere :P
