People surely like to give names to everything so that they can categorize it and explain it in a more easy way to others. As the industry goes forward it becomes a lot harder to put a game into one certain genre.Nevertheless we all grew up hating one of these names or another.Maybe that was birthed due to a bad experience with a game or due to not giving many changes to different and more unsafe genres to our liking.Or maybe someone else opinion led us to this.So what's that one videogame genre that you never got into? That you tried or never cared to even bother?Have your thoughts on this changed since then?Do you keep avoiding games from this genre? What caused this?

Easily the sports genre..  I just don't see the appeal of those games. They seem to be very bland and boring to me.. :-/

Probably RTS, TBS and TRPGs. I just get depressed when I watch footage of them...

Beat em Ups. I tried to get into it but it just never happened. Probably it's too static and too many button combinations. Can't think of any genre I have less ties to.

Rhythm-music. I played Rock Band a few times with my friends, hated it, and never bothered with it again.

Yes i find them difficult for my eyes too. It's hard to see so many people are addicted to them.

To a degree, I dabble in all of them. I avoid realistic sports games like NBA, Fifa, and NFL, though. I know they're quality games sometimes but just not for me.
