Forums - Nintendo Discussion - UPDATE Project Cars fanpage: “If People Want a Race Sim on Wii U They will Buy it, Even in One More Year”

Well i know I'm not getting it now. From the moment this was announced I was buying this on WiiU because my PS4 would have GT. Guess I will just stick to Kart racers on the U then.

Also this game is fucked anyway. It can't compete with 2 exclusive racers this holiday in Forza and Driveclub. Pc and WiiU was all it really had. Now it's just got Pc going for it, I think it won't even break 1mil physical

Just cancel it. We expected to get treated like crap, don't even care anymore.

That's what they want to do anyway. Same with Ubisoft and Watch Dogs.

Classic Nintendo Fanboy logic reaction here: "I didn't want it anyway."

my moneys on a wiiu version being canned,  lets face it even if you go out of your way to pander to the nintendo crowd,  it just doesnt matter,  sales will be piss poor.

ask criterion how far groveling at wiiu owners feet got them.

their logic is always going to be,  well its your fault not ours.

it's only forgivable to treat nintendo fans like shit,  and feasably get away with it if youre nintendo,  we should all know that by now.

This mindset worked wonders for third parties in the past.

"Since there is no Nintendo alternative, we can get away with everything. Whatever we ship, whenever we ship, no matter what we charge."

But anyway, so the only real reason why there will still be a Wii U version is that this thing was crowdfunded in not negligible parts by Wii U fans?

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

A Biased Review Reloaded / Open Your Eyes / Switch Gamers Club

Too be honest, I always prefer a game be delayed and good, rather than released early and bad. The Wii U version could've fixed some gameplay problems and bugs that the other versions had. Who knows. But after hearing this, I really hope the game bombs so bad on the other consoles that their studio self-destructs or even better than no major publisher will take them up for a game again, while the hand that kept them sustained (crowd funders) refuse to do it again. That is assuming this is the general sentiment of the company. If any company in any other industry treated me this way, I just won't give them my money. It's that simple. That is the only way the market works.

Wow, you gotta atleast say something to get people to want to wait for the game. Not say "you guys are not our priority, if you don't want this game then stick to playing your Mario Kart. But don't forget we are your only option." Atleast have some respect and say "The Wii U version of this game took longer than we expected, since we are committed to releasing a quality product, we were unfortunately forced to delay the version. we regretting having to have a situation where we release the versions at different time, but we feel it's not right to hold back 2 versions that are finished. We apologies for this situation."

Not gonna happen bro.

First you delay the WiiU version, then you tell us that it's going to be 720p/30fps and to make it worse you tell us that if we really want this eye candy realistic racing game of urs, we wait at least another year?

HELLO!? This is WiiU were talking about. How anybody can expect this game to sell good on WiiU after these baffling news is just baffling.
