Forums - Sony Discussion - Naughty Dog Asked Activision to Let them Include Crash Bandicoot in Fan Art Contest; Got Denied

Maybe.... Activision couldn't say yes because they no longer own the rights to Crash.

We would know about it if that were true, since Activision is a publicly traded company.  They wouldn't have been able to sell off an asset without the shareholders knowing since it would've appeared on their financials.

Sucks, but they do own it so whatever.

Activision, monetizing everything.

Damn, it's a fanart contest

Wow... and people were wondering why Sony didn't spend more time and effort into getting Crash into PSASBR when activision wont even allow fans draw a picture of him.... what dickheads.

Aye, Crash 4 and the HD remake of FF7 will come out when the only people who would care about either will be dead of old age or too old to see the 16k resolution that the games are being made in.

Maybe they're planning a Crash game and don't want Naughty Dog to be associated with it anymore. You never know...

I still don't understand why they're just sitting on the franchise like that. It's clearly of no value to them, just let Sony take it back (not that i think Sony will do a whole lot with it either, but certainly a sight more than Activision)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
