So who is this video for?  The people who bash the PS4 saying it has no games and that they know it'll get games in the future, exactly what he was saying in the video, or to the people who try to justify the PS4 having no games and that it's still worth purchasing "at this time?"   

Also like he stated in the video.  Everyone knows that there will be games in the future.  The only people bashing the console is those that say the system has no games at this point in time, and like every Playstation console has no games at this point in time.  Some of us, Playstation fans like me included, are pissed off that Sony does this every gen.  For a year plus though, those of us who actually want to play games on the console can't when there's pretty much nothing to play.  There's Infamous Second Son, but what's that going to take?  30 hours tops to platinum it, if that?

The last 6 years include the peak years for the consoles. That isn't a baseline, it's just a random comparison. PS3 in 2011 already had price cuts, Gran Turismo, God of War, tons of CoDs, Batman and a lot of heavy hits. That's you comparison, the peak years of a console vs the first year of a console.

Whats that I hear? More excuses...wow, I never would have guessed @.@

PSS: This whole conversation is silly. I already made my point that excuses are irrelevant (see OP) and you just keep giving me more excuses. Please stop, the irony of this whole situation is killing me.

This is about excuses trying to deny it isn't selling well when it is at record pace. That's the big irony here. But this discussion is over since it's pretty clear that isn't going to nowhere.

Yes, I understand the point of the video and I agree with most of his reasoning. PS4 isn't selling more due to some lack of game launches and the fact that the transition to the new generation is yet to be made by most of franchises (not to mention the price point, which is still too high for the masses). I got it and I don't challenge it. And if, as he says, there are people claiming there's no reason for PS4 to sell that much, he has every right to point out how mistaken those people are.

However, I can't agree with some of his points. First of all, PS4 is not selling good right now. Second, the console will not have the legs PS3 had. The latter is arguable and it's just a prediction of mine, but the former should be obvious to anybody. Once I saw it wasn't, I began to post on this thread. And so far no one was able to explain me how 100k weekly PS4 sales are good.

So, answering your last question, it makes sense to show he isn't right on that point (although his main point is correct and I didn't challange it at all). And, if a lot more people are wrong on that too, even more sense it makes to show the truth to everybody.

I know you have a slightly different opinion and I'm sorry if I haven't made it clear enough in my posts. But that was not my focus. We both don't think PS4 is doing great, unlike the people I quoted that presented weak arguments I felt compelled to challenge. They constantly tried to dodge the issue and I had to recall the beginning of the discussion (and you were part of it) for several times. I didn't mean to drag you into it.
